1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Holy Bible: Verse & Prayer (the “App”), provided by RURU Infotech (“RURU Infotech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Use of the App
The App provides Bible reading tools, Scripture verses, prayers, Christian inspiration, widgets, reminders, reading features, faith-focused app controls, themes, wallpapers, and other related functionality for personal use.
Subject to these Terms, RURU Infotech grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for lawful personal and non-commercial purposes.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally permitted to use the App and to enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you. If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, you should use the App only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required.
4. Scripture and Faith-Based Content
The App is intended to support personal Bible reading, prayer, reflection, encouragement, and faith-based habits. Content provided through the App is for general informational, educational, inspirational, and devotional purposes.
The App is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, pastoral, or other professional advice. You are responsible for how you interpret and use content provided through the App.
Bible translations, quotations, images, fonts, and other third-party materials may be owned by their respective copyright holders or licensors. Their inclusion in the App does not transfer ownership to RURU Infotech or to users. Applicable copyright notices, attribution requirements, and permissions remain with the respective rights holders.
5. App Permissions and System Features
Certain features depend on permissions or services provided by Apple and your device. You may choose whether to grant available permissions, but disabling a required permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.
- Notifications: reminders, Bible verses, prayers, streaks, Grace & Gratitude messages, and other notifications depend on system notification settings and may not always be delivered at an exact time.
- Prayer Lock and Verse Lock: app-blocking features may rely on Apple Screen Time, Family Controls, Managed Settings, or related frameworks. Their availability and behavior may depend on iOS, device configuration, permissions, and limitations imposed by Apple.
- Widgets: widget refresh timing and content updates are controlled in part by iOS and therefore cannot be guaranteed to occur at an exact frequency.
- Shortcuts and wallpapers: automated wallpaper or Shortcut features may require separate setup or confirmation in Apple’s Shortcuts app and can be affected by system settings or future iOS changes.
You are responsible for configuring these features appropriately for your device and circumstances.
6. Subscriptions and Premium Features
Some App features may require a paid subscription, free trial, lifetime purchase, or other in-app purchase offered through the Apple App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when your purchase is confirmed.
- Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
- Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the applicable renewal price.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
- If a free trial is offered, eligibility may be determined by Apple and the applicable offer terms. Unless otherwise stated by Apple, canceling prevents a future renewal but does not necessarily remove access before the current trial or billing period ends.
- Prices, subscription periods, promotional offers, and available premium features may vary by country and may change as permitted by applicable law and App Store rules.
7. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
Purchases made through the App are processed by Apple. RURU Infotech does not directly collect or store your full payment card or banking information.
Subscription cancellation and refund requests for App Store purchases are generally handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s applicable policies, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
8. Intellectual Property
Except for third-party materials and content owned by their respective rights holders, the App and its software, design, interface, branding, graphics, illustrations, layouts, original text, features, and other materials are owned by or licensed to RURU Infotech and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, republish, sell, redistribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit the App or our proprietary materials except where expressly permitted by law or with our prior written permission.
If you believe material available through the App infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at contact@ruruinfotech.com with sufficient information for us to review the matter.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its systems, or services;
- interfere with, disrupt, damage, or overload the App or related infrastructure;
- bypass, disable, or circumvent security, subscription, entitlement, or access controls;
- use automated systems to scrape, extract, reproduce, or commercially exploit App content without authorization; or
- use the App in a way that infringes the rights of RURU Infotech or any third party.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The App may interact with or provide access to services supplied by third parties, including Apple services, content providers, image providers, hosting services, analytics or diagnostic providers, and external websites.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. RURU Infotech is not responsible for the availability, content, security, or practices of third-party services that we do not control.
11. App Availability and Changes
We may add, modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features, content, pricing, subscription offerings, or portions of the App from time to time.
We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely, that all content will always be available, or that the App will operate without interruptions, delays, errors, or incompatibilities.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, completely secure, error-free, compatible with every device or operating system version, or that all content will always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your particular needs.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RURU Infotech and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the App if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, abused the App, created legal or security risk, or where suspension is otherwise reasonably necessary.
Termination does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. You are responsible for managing subscription cancellation through your Apple ID settings.
15. Privacy
Our collection and handling of information in connection with the App are described in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms an important part of your relationship with the App and should be reviewed together with these Terms.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we update them, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer law, disputes relating to these Terms or the App will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction in Gujarat, India.
If the laws of your country or region provide mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived by contract, those protections continue to apply.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
